RACE DETAILS

Lilyfontein has been adventuring for over 20 years.  We are strong believers in the benefit of adventure-based activities and the positive impact it has on our young people as it develops grit, endurance, resilience and character.

This year’s Adventure Race has been designed in a hybrid/virtual format, with plans to safely accommodate both our Lilyfontein learners and outside supporters. Due to Covid-19 restrictions and the clamping down of numbers at gatherings, Lilyfontein School cannot cater for the traditional set up of our Adventure Race.  We have therefore decided to spread the event over a number of days, accommodating our little Lilyfontein adventurers on the school campus and our bigger adventurers and other school teams at a local trail venue (Emerald Vale Trails) over the duration of a weekend. By doing this, we ensure that we are Covid-19 compliant and can uphold all necessary safety protocols at this year’s Adventure Race. Our aim this year is simply to have fun and keep the adventure alive.  Your entry fee will be a donation toward our Adventure Department (a new climbing wall at the school) and to the maintenance of the local trails being used at Emerald Vale.

Find your tribe, get out there and start your adventure with us. Please read all info and race details below to get yourself up to speed on this year’s Lilyfontein Adventure Race.
