Permaculture

We are looking to set up a Gardening Committee to do work in the permaculture garden once/ twice a month. If any parents are interested in being part of this committee, please leave your name at the front office and Miss Rankin will contact you.

The Permaculture Department is in need of compost and organic waste materials for a mulching project taking place in the permaculture garden and new addition. Any donations of horse manure, grass clippings, hay, old thatch, etc would be greatly appreciated. These donations can be left in the new garden addition at the drop off point. The earthworms say thank you in advance :)

Interact:

Blood Clinic: Our target was 21 units and we bled 26 units and this was managed without the rugby boys who had practise. Thank you so much to learners, staff and parents who donated and gave the gift of life to someone.

St Valentine Cup Cakes: An amazing amount of R8 437, 45 was raised from the sale of cupcakes and hearts. This money will go to our core charity, Canaan Care Centre. A HUGE thank you for supporting this event so enthusiastically, your support is overwhelming.
