FOUNDER’S DAY ART PROJECT - #SNAP #IT
One of our growing traditions at Founders Day is our collaborative, upcycled art project that the entire school can participate in. This will be our 6th year of creating something new from something old.
Capture the beauty and essence of our school in a picture.
Pull out all those old photographs that you don’t want anymore and bundle them up. 5 photographs get you 1 house point. These could be old school photos, beach holiday snapshots, forest walk pics, game drives…. anything, only requirement is that it must be a photograph (matte or gloss)!!! All of these old photos cluttering up your cupboard will be given new life in our upcycled collage at Founder’s Day. Deliver photo bundles before Friday 16th May to Miss Rankin, who will record the house points. Thanks for your participation. Go ORANGE Go NAVY!

Why do teenagers sometimes make outrageous, risky choices? Do they suddenly become reckless, or are they just going through a natural phase?
To find out, Kashfia Rahman -- winner of the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (and a Harvard freshman) -- designed and conducted an experiment to test how high school students respond to and get used to risk, and how it changes their still-developing brains. What she discovered about risk and decision-making could change how we think about why teens do what they do.
