ADVENTURE RACE 2018: Thank you to Adventure Department
This year we hosted 132 teams in 10 different divisions with over 492 participants, 6 race routes and over 50 marshaling points with hundreds of volunteers.  The logistics behind putting an event like this together is mammoth.  We would like to thank our Lilyfontein family, staff, teachers, learners, volunteers, participants and the greater East Coast community for supporting Lilyfontein School throughout the years.

A massive thank you to Mrs Mitchell – Event Director and her Adventure Department Mrs Smith, Mr Wilson and Mr Ansley for all their energy, organisation and planning that is required to put this diverse event together.  The route planners ensured we had adventure and mud thanks to Mr Angelbeck and Mr Matthewson for the U15, U19 and Corporate/Crocs and Duo teams respectively and Mrs Jackson and Mrs Fouche for the grade 4-5 and grade 1-3 routes respectively.  The event was a great success and we appreciate everyone's contribution.

The learner will need to give four cryptic clues as to who they are portraying, and the rest of the class will have to surmise who the character is. They will also need to express why they enjoyed the book they have read. There will be an overall prize for the best dressed represented character.

We will be having our Guitar Tea Concert on Saturday, 15 September 2018 from 10:00 to 12:30 in the School Hall.
