Dear Parents,
Please take note of the following:

BUCO Tomato Trot & Cycle
Congratulations and thank you to everyone involved with the BUCO Tomato Trot & Cycle. Every single person who was involved - sponsors, school staff, parents, learners and competitors, contributed to the success of this fundraiser. We are still busy making payments and collecting income from the on-line entries. As soon as we have a total raised we will let you know. THANK YOU!

High School Term Information

Concessions/Extra Time Applications

Please be advised that the application forms for 2018 have now been received. Please note that these forms are available at the front office. Kindly collect and ensure that they are returned to school by Monday, 19 February 2018 together with a Scholastic Assessment not older than 3 years.

Grade 11 Subject Changes
A Grade 11 learner may change 2 subjects in Grade 11. This is subject to the approval of the principal of the school where the learner is
registered. Applications need to be submitted to school by Monday, 12 February 2018 (the official closing date has not yet been
received from the Department of Education). The following documents MUST BE furnished for subject changes :
(i) A letter of motivation from parent or guardian of learner.
(ii) A letter of motivation from learner.

Lilyfontein Fun Ride
Please save the date for our annual Lilyfontein Fun Ride which will be held on Saturday, 16 June 2018. More details will be shared in due course.

The Lilyfontein Senior Debating Team won their debate against West Bank, King Williamstown last week and Adon Parker was BEST SPEAKER.
On 7 February, Lilyfontein hosted the League debates.The senior debaters won their debate against West Bank, East London and Daniel du Plessis was BEST SPEAKER. CONGRATULATIONS! Thank you to the juniors who assisted with set up and clean-up after the debates.

Lilyfontein School achieved its Diamond Bronze Eco Award marking its 11th successful year in the programme. Thank you to all the learners, staff and parents who continue to support the Eco initiatives.
