Dear Parents

Please take note of the following:

High School Prize Giving
Please consider this a formal invitation to our High School Prize Giving on Tuesday, 17 October 2017. It is compulsory that ALL Grade 8 pupils attend.   
TIME: Please be seated by 18:20.
Prize Giving starts at 18:30.  Please adhere strictly to these times as latecomers cause a disturbance.
DRESS: Full winter uniform must be worn with tie and blazer.
PLEASE NOTE that each pupil is requested to supply one plate of eats for this occasion.  A reply slip has been sent home with each high school learners. Kindly complete the reply slip and return it to school on Monday, 16 October 2017.

HIGH School closing early on Wednesday,18 October
Please note that the High School will close at 12:30 on Wednesday, 18 October due to the Valedictory and a number of staff members having to attend CASS moderation meetings and workshops. Sport matches continue as per the various fixture lists and learners are required to honour these.

The Grade 1- 7 school times will remain the same as usual for this day. Buses will leave at 4pm.

Interact Mothers and Daughters Tea
Interact invites all girls and ladies in the Lilyfontein family to invite their Moms, Aunties and Grannies to join for the Interact Mother and Daughter Tea on 21 October at 10:30 - 13:30 in the school hall. Tickets are on sale for R60 until 18 October.
All funds raised will go towards Interacts new charities: Helping Those in Need and Brakfontein Rugby School

Blood Drive - October 2017
Lilyfontein will be hosting its next blood drive on Friday, 13 October, 08:30 -14:30 in the school hostel. We have been challenged to collect 50 units of blood. If you are not able to make it to Lilyfontein School during those hours, you may donate at Berea or Beacon Bay Donor Centres any day in October. To ensure that your donation gets logged against our target, please complete the form at this link and take it with you.
