Dear Parents
Red Baron Tomato Trot & Cycle
Congratulations and thank you to everyone involved with the Red Baron Tomato Trot & Cycle. Every single person that was involved - sponsors, school staff, parents, learners and competitors, contributed to the success of this fundraiser. We are still busy making payments and collecting income from the on-line entries. As soon as we have a total raised we will let you know. THANK YOU!

Red Baron Tomato Trot Results
Results for all timed races (15km run, 55,35,15 and 8km cycle) can be found on www.finishtime.co.za. Any queries, please contact Steps or Leon on 082 499 4219
Congratulations to the PTA committee for 2017:

  • Chairperson : Calista Stanton
  • Vice Chairperson : Annette Heger
  • Secretary : Lisa van Tonder
  • SGB Rep : Anne-Lise Bollaert-Davies
  • Class Rep Liaison Officer : Judy Johnson
  • Cake Sale Co-Ordinator : Priscilla Dengler

The PTA is a Parent Teacher Association which raises funds for projects around the school and forms a platform between the parents and teachers. We discuss and plan fundraisers. At present, we have been fundraising for a school stage, trophy cabinets and a "modern" foyer for the hall. We have also been busy with the PTA kitchen.
We have one meeting per term, usually the second Tuesday of the term where all parents are welcome. If anybody would like to join in or help in any way, please feel free to contact your class rep.
Extra Time Applications
Please note that all learners who are needing extra time for examinations have to submit their Educational Psychologist report to school by Wednesday, 15 February as we need to submit these to the Department of Education.
Lilyfontein School Golf Day: 11 March 2017
The Grade 11’s are hosting a Golf Day on 11 March 2017 at Gonubie Golf Course to raise money for the matric dance. We would be most appreciative if you could sponsor prizes or alternatively sponsor one of the 18 holes for this event. Sponsoring a hole will be R500 and you can then advertise your business/company on the day. If you are interested in sponsoring a hole, or donating prizes, please send an e-mail to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
Your support of our school is greatly appreciated
