Dear Parent/s

THE NEXT BIG THING

As a Lilyfontein parent, and chairman of the Middlecourt Trust (MCT), I invite you to come and hear about the Next BIG Thing that will enhance the educational experience of your child/ren at Lilyfontein School.

Simply put, the vision is compelling, the goal is audacious and the moment is upon us to make decisive decisions to boldly move forward.

A special meeting for all parents is scheduled for Thursday 2nd October, in the school hall at 18:00 for 18:30. Refreshments will be available before the start, and we expect the meeting to be finished between 19:30 and 20:00. Your child’s 3rd term School Report will also be released to you at this gathering.

At this meeting the school principal, chairman of the SGB, and chairman of MCT, will present the exciting opportunities and options for the development of the school campus.

We will present the facts as they are now; our vision for the future; and the commitments  we will need to make, as parents, to turn our dream into reality.

So book the date and be part of the Next BIG Thing.

Please let us know if you will be part of the meeting, by sending a mail to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Looking forward to meeting you then.

Mr C J Davies

Middlecourt Trust (MCT) was formed in 1998 by a group of forward thinking parents, and acquired the Middlecourt farm which surrounds the original primary school. The land owned by MCT is approximately 32ha.

Over the past 15 years, MCT has developed an educational campus on its land, including classrooms for the intermediate phase and high school, school hall and change-rooms, playing fields, hostel and adventure centre.

MCT leases its facilities to Lilyfontein school, and continues to develop the educational infrastructure on its land to enable the continued high standard of education at Lilyfontein school.

Middlecourt Trust is managed by a Board of Trustees, all of whom are either parents or have close links to Lilyfontein school.
